Ludlow's Festival of Small Gardens

Mon 1 July 2013

McCartneys Ludlow are proud to sponsor Ludlow’s Festival of Small Gardens. Debbie Anderson, Partner at Ludlow Office says “we are delighted to have the opportunity to support the Festival of Small Gardens, funds raised will benefit local charities and social enterprise schemes.”

This August Bank Holiday weekend will see up to thirty gardens open to the public in three different parts of the Town, four local Sculptors will have their work on display within the open gardens and there will be three exhibitions of paintings by local artists. St Leonard’s Churchyard, Lower Mill Street with wine and the Rockspring Community Centre will have live music and there will be Street entertainers and a wide variety of stalls selling all types of plants and garden artefacts. Light lunches, teas and ices will be available and the opportunity to buy fresh produce from the Grow, Cook, Share communal vegetable garden and fresh pizzas from their cob oven.

Debbie says “I was very keen that our Ludlow Office should support this exciting event. On the top of most prospective buyers wish lists is a garden and it seemed appropriate for us to support an event which showcases Ludlow residents gardens in all areas of the Town and demonstrates how the community can come together to stage and support what I am sure will be an enjoyable weekend.”

Tickets and further information are available from Ludlow Assembly Rooms from the end of July – www.ludlowassemblyrooms.co.uk or 01584 878141.
