McCartneys Planning and Survey Team Expand

Succession and planning for future development is important to us here at McCartneys and we would like to introduce you to two new employees within the Planning and Survey Department – Andrew Parker and Rhys Evans.
Andrew Parker has recently joined the team as a Chartered Commercial Surveyor. Originally from Wigan, Andrew relocated to Shropshire in the late-1990s and has recently returned to the area after living in Northeast Lincolnshire for the last 10 years. He has an RICS Accredited Degree in Property Development from Sheffield Hallam University, qualifying as both a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) and Registered Valuer in July 2021.
Working alongside Michael Edwards, Andrew is focusing on a variety of professional work, including Valuation, Commercial Estate Agency, Lease Advisory and Commercial Property Management.
Rhys Evans has recently joined the team as a Planning Consultant. Prior to joining McCartneys, Rhys worked as a Senior Planning Officer for Powys County Council which helps provide a valuable insight into all types of planning applications including planning appeals. Rhys has a Masters Degree in Spatial Planning and Development, which, together with the years of experience in the planning department make him the ideal planning consultant to join our team.
Working alongside the main planning and survey team headed by Geraint Jones, Rhys will be involved in a range of planning work including architectural design & drawing work, planning matters and building regulations. Rhys specialises in planning policy matters and is able to produce detailed written statements in support of planning applications and planning appeals and can assist with all planning related matters and queries.
McCartneys are delighted with the expansion to the Planning and Survey Department, with both bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience from their sectors and are looking forward to the team growing.
