McCartneys Planning Department Grows

McCartneys LLP takes on two new staff in its planning and survey offices boosting the department’s geographical coverage.

Geraint Jones, McCartneys partner, says he’s excited by the addition of the two new members of the team.

“This will help strengthen our department and allow us to further widen our support to both existing and new clients,” he says. 

Steven Horne (pictured above) joins the business as a chartered building surveyor and brings extensive surveying experience to the role.

“He will be based in our new Hereford office and will be covering the Herefordshire/ Worcestershire area and beyond,” says Geraint.

“Steven is a specialist in party wall and specific defect surveys but will also be working across all aspects of the McCartneys planning and survey department.”

The second new employee, Tony Morgan (pictured to the right), has joined the team as a trainee surveyor.

“Tony has a degree in estate management and his role will include, supporting with building surveys, undertaking measured surveys of building and land, architectural design, preparing and submitting planning applications for a wide range of scheme's, including residential, agricultural and commercial,” he adds.

Tony will be based in the Kington office and will also be involved in covering the Mid Wales and borders area.

“It’s great to see the department and the geographic coverage growing with such talented and experienced people,” says Geraint.
