McCartneys Shortlisted for another 3 National Awards …

McCartneys has been shortlisted for three awards run by The Negotiator Magazine.  Established in 2008, the awards are the most prestigious of the UK residential estate and letting agency industry.

 

The company has been shortlisted in Best Estate Agency in the UK (10+ branches), Best Estate Agency in Wales and Best Estate Agency in the East and West Midlands.

The shortlisting is another acknowledgement of McCartneys high levels of customer service, commitment to the community and innovation which has also seen them win three British Property Awards for their branches in Bridgnorth, Ludlow and Welshpool.  They are also finalists in the highly acclaimed Rural Business Awards for the third year in a row and finalists in the Powys Business Awards with the winners yet to be crowned.

Tom Carter, Chairman of the Property Department said: “We are over the moon, not only to be shortlisted in one category but in every one we entered.  Serving our customers and playing an integral part in our community is what drives the business and its really satisfying when this is recognised by an independent panel of judges in the industry.”

He added: “To be shortlisted for the Best Estate Agency in the UK in The Negotiator Awards, given the competition from across the country, is really something quite special.”

McCartneys has 14 branches throughout Shropshire, Herefordshire, Worcestershire and Powys and employs 150 people locally.  Established in 1874 the business includes residential sales and lettings, rural professional services, five livestock markets, an auction house and a planning and survey department.

The Negotiator Awards is organised by the residential property industry’s only trade magazine, The Negotiator.

The Awards programme has led the field in the celebration of excellence in the residential property agency sector for 12 years and, with 16 highly experienced judges, only the best agencies and suppliers are announced as the winners. It is the true ‘Oscars of Agency’.

This year the judging took place on 4th September at the Royal Automobile Club, Pall Mall, London where the Shortlist was decided by a carefully selected panel of judges, all leaders in their field, with observers from The Negotiator.

With 34 categories ranging from the individual’s award: Rising Star of the Year and, for businesses: New Agency of the Year, up to the most coveted Award: Estate Agency of the Year (10+ branches), The Negotiator Awards, has this year, attracted many hundreds of entries – an astonishing 53 per cent uplift on 2017!

The three finalists and winners of each category will be revealed at a grand gala dinner at the sumptuous Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane, London on 30th November 2018.
