More than £4,000 raised on Three Peaks 24 Hour Challenge

Fri 17 August 2018

McCartneys are very pleased to announce the successful completion of the Three Peaks 24 Hour Challenge by their team where during one of the hottest weekends recorded this year the three mountains of Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon were scaled within the set time limit of 24 hours. Whilst the challenge was no mean feat most importantly a fantastic £4,031 was raised for the British Heart Foundation, McCartneys’ chosen charity of the year.

Said Tom Carter partner at McCartneys “whilst it was hard work it was a massive boost to morale to see the “Just Giving Page” increasing throughout the period of our challenge, thank you to all who have so kindly donated.” Tom also extended his thanks to a couple of the team members “Mark Fish and Jamie Hammond for the arduous task of driving the 1,000 odd miles and also friend and client Nigel Picken for joining us as our mountain guide.
The McCartneys 'British Heart Foundation' fund raising continues throughout the rest of the year with donation boxes in all offices and markets, a 'Bag It. Beat It.' declutter campaign and a Charity Race Night.

The Three Peaks team would like to thank everyone who donated before, during and after the event and are so pleased to exceed their original target for this amazing charity.
