New Grant Funding Opportunity

The Farm Business Grant Yard Coverings scheme is now open to farmers in Wales, providing funding towards roofing yard areas.

The grant will provide £36/m2 of funding to cover the following;

• Livestock Gathering Areas
• Livestock Feeding Areas
• Manure Storage Areas
• Slurry Stores
• Silage Stores

Additional grant funding is available for replacing rainwater goods on existing buildings and installing rainwater harvesting systems etc.

A minimum grant of £3,000 is available, up to a maximum grant of £12,000.

The application period closes on Friday 18th December.

To be eligible, livestock gathering areas, feeding areas and manure storage areas must already have concrete floors. Areas which are soil/stone etc are unfortunately not eligible to be covered by this grant.
