New Partner Joins McCartneys LLP

Geraint is a key member of the Planning and Survey Department. His work includes the architectural design of all types of buildings in all sectors, the preparation and submission of planning applications, through to the detailing of drawings for building regulations. Furthermore, this includes the creation of specification of works, preparing tender documents and on-site management of developments. The job profile is, however, wide ranging and Geraint is also involved in building surveys, energy assessments and land surveys to name just a few.

Geraint was born and brought up in Mid Wales, and is a graduate of Liverpool John Moore's University with a BSc (Hons) in Building Surveying. Since joining McCartneys in 2007 Geraint has become a Member of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, a Registered Valuer and become qualified to undertake domestic and commercial energy assessments.

Geraint joins the partnership at the same time as Clive Roads becoming McCartneys new chairman. Geraint has said “I am looking forward to this new challenge and helping steer the company forward”.
