Phipps & Pritchard's open day a success!

Fri 7 March 2014

It was a pleasure to welcome so many local professionals and friends to our open day to celebrate the completion of our residential sales property centre at 31 Worcester Street, Kidderminster.

It gave an opportunity to introduce some of our new colleagues from McCartneys including our Chairman John Uffold, Accountant Matthew Kelly and Chartered Building Surveyor David Hughes and during the day our Property Chairman Debbie Anderson.

It really was lovely to see so many old friends and to have the opportunity to meet some of the new and younger professional colleagues from within our area.

Our office has a commanding presence on the corner of Worcester Street and Prospect Hill, amongst what is locally referred to as “Estates Agents Corner”. An early evening trip will show that our office does really stand out from the crowd benefiting from new illuminated LED displays with some rotating displays as well.

Although the marketing of property has changed dramatically over the last ten to twenty years with the onset of the internet, we still feel that our office should be a warm and welcoming place. The atmosphere during our day conveyed this, my staff and colleagues enjoying the opportunity to “talk property” with so many guests.

Although the property scene has changed we like to think that we are a haven for old fashioned and traditional professional and personal service. Whether we are currently acting as your estate agent or maybe you are thinking of appointing an estate agent, please do feel free to pop into our new show room to engage with our experienced and qualified staff.

Education and advancement through qualification is one of the principles of Phipps & Pritchard with McCartneys, John Uffold, our Chairman, was overheard to say “the refitted offices are a showcase to how an estate agents front of house presence should be seen by the public and here at Phipps & Pritchard with McCartneys, the wealth of qualified reception staff and negotiators ensures that in the majority of instances an excellent service is delivered to the public and our clients”.

Christopher Rees, Phipps & Pritchard Managing Partner, welcomed those in attendance and delivered a short message of thanks for their support.

Chris said “our offices really do stand out from the crowd, now dominating the bottom of Prospect Hill, commanding both corners of Worcester Street at Number 31 with our residential sales office and Number 32 Worcester Street with our long leasehold and assured tenancy department.

We hope that those of you who are reading this article may, if you are thinking of a property, call in to consult with us and see if we may be of service, whether it be the sale of property, organising a valuation or survey, perhaps a property management or rental requirement that you have, plus many property related things in between.

It is not every day that businesses in these difficult economic times get the opportunity to undertake such an investment in an office refit, we are delighted with the result and hope that it will keep us at the leading edge with a new look that should last us for many years to come.

Chris Rees MRICS, Managing Partner.
