The McCartneys summer auction attracted a good sized crowd with a variety of lots forward. A wide range of land and property gave the basis for a very successful evening.
All lots on offer found new homes with lots of spirited bidding.
The auction commenced with a unique one acre land parcel which had been carefully tended as a 'un-registered' nature reserve. This was located near to the market town of Ludlow. The sale price concluded at £11,500.
Our second lot Lower Redgate, Dutlas, Knighton represented a huge opportunity for redevelopment. This property was in a super rural area with an out building and approximately 0.75 of an acre of ground. This property had been guided at a very realistic figure of £150,000. Lots of bidders from the outset and eventually being sold at £186,500 to a local family.
The third lot was a small paddock also formerly part of Lower Redgate this was sold for a figure close to the guide of £5,000 being 0.84 of an acre.
Our next auction at The Salwey Arms is on Thursday 22nd September 2016 @ 6.00pm.
