Reserved Matters Planning Approval Successfully Obtained for 5 Dwellings in Small Rural Welsh Village

Thu 30 April 2020

McCartneys LLP Planning and Survey department have obtained reserved matters planning approval for a small development of 5 dwellings in a small Welsh rural village. The outline application was also obtained by McCartneys Planning and Survey department on appeal following an improvement offered to highways connectivity for pedestrians with the village.

The proposal received positive appraisal from the council during the submission, with the designs carefully undertaken to enhance the local setting and a nearby listed building. The highways improvements included the widening of road and a new footpath link to reduce the risk of pedestrians using a narrow road near to the site. The site benefited of use of our 3D architectural design software, enabling both the client and the planning department to clearly see the proposal and help to understand the layout.

The application was undertaken and submitted to the council by Geraint Jones working from the Kington Office of McCartneys. If you have any projects which you would like to discuss further then please contact Geraint on 01544 230316 or geraint.jones@mccartneys.co.uk.
