Reserved Matters Planning Approval Successfully Obtained for 10 Dwellings in Small Rural Welsh Village

Wed 17 June 2020

Architectural DrawingMcCartneys LLP Planning and Survey department have obtained reserved matters planning approval for a small development of 10 dwellings in a small Welsh rural village. The outline application was also obtained by McCartneys Planning and Survey department and were delighted to continue with the project for the applicants.

The proposal received positive appraisal from the council during the submission, with the designs carefully undertaken to enhance the local setting and provide a contrast to the village setting. The proposal included for significant highways improvements, included a new footpath link with the adjacent residential estate. This however involved detailed disco with the highways department as it was a complicated location and requires the realignment of a B class road. The site benefited of use of our 3D architectural design software, enabling both the client and the planning department to clearly see the proposal and help to understand the layout.

The application was undertaken and submitted to the council by Geraint Jones working from the Newtown Office of McCartneys. If you have any projects which you would like to discuss further then please contact Geraint on 01686 623123 , 07875 222835 or geraint.jones@mccartneys.co.uk.
