Roussin to 560gns at Worcester Saturday 6th September

The Roussin Sheep Society’s inaugural Sale at Worcester recorded a creditable 560gns top for a Shearling Ram from the “Moorland” flock of RD & AE Molyneux, founders of the breed in this country and suitable rewarded for a strong shapey ram, the purchaser from Sleaford, Lincs was Mr C Elkington. Two other shearlings from Messrs Molyneux levelled at 300gns to RH Morris, Pershore, Worcs. and CP Prouse & Son, Holsworthy, Devon. Local breeders TJ Powell, Hereford sold a shearling at 310gns to AJ Powell, Powys.
