Site in Greenbelt Granted Full Planning Permission for 3 New Dwellings

Mon 17 December 2018

McCartneys LLP planning and survey department have obtained full planning approval for the erection of three new dwellings in the Greenbelt near to Wolverhampton.

The scheme sees the removal of the large commercial buildings currently used for stables and indoor riding areas and the erection of three new dwellings. The scheme was carefully undertaken to ensure that there is no detrimental effect on the visual impact off the greenbelt. This included an overall reduction in the footprint of the buildings and careful design regarding the overall height of the proposed units.

The three new dwellings are all set within their own gardens and parking areas and are all uniquely designed for this site with the use of the 3d drawing software. This helped to show the local authority the visual impact between the existing and proposed schemes.

The scheme complied local and national policy with the redevelopment of a brownfield site. The local council were keen to support the application following the submission of an initial pre application advice request. The plots are for sale with McCartneys LLP property department and can be viewed on the website in more detail.

The application was undertaken and submitted to the council by Geraint Jones working from the Newtown Office of McCartneys. If you have any projects which you would like to discuss further then please contact Geraint Jones on 01686 623123 or geraint.jones@mccartneys.co.uk.
