Spring Is Well and Truly in the Air

It is of course traditionally one of the times of year when people think about buying and selling and that certainly seems to be ringing true again this year despite the uncertainty being created by our current political position.
So, the most important B WORD affecting the property market at the moment? BUYERS of course! The trend that we experienced last year appears to be continuing thus far in 2019, with an abundance of buyers looking to purchase property within Shropshire, The Marches and Mid Wales but with seemingly little stock on offer for them to buy.
This is in some cases of course putting upward pressure on prices. We are increasingly seeing multiple offers coming in on individual properties from multiple potential buyers and this can result in sales being agreed over asking prices. What more could you want as a seller? It is also worth noting that our viewing to sales ratio has reduced in the first quarter of 2019, meaning that it is taking fewer viewings to agree a sale on your home than it might have done this time last year.
So, with the level of property available for sale across the country at an historic low, yet with extremely healthy levels of buyers actively searching for property and homes selling that little bit quicker than they were 12 months ago, what better time to make arrangements to sell?
