The Importance of a High Street Presence

Fri 15 December 2017

I am often asked about the noticeable array of emerging online estate agents. What do we offer that is different?

A High street presence, the ability for clients to visit or phone the office to discuss their sale or purchase. Face to face contact gives a personal experience for our clients. Many of the internet experiences are offering contact at arm’s length via email which leaves the customer more of a number than a person.

A further key factor is that once an offer has been accepted we maintain contact between both buyers and sellers solicitors and likewise the buyer throughout the transaction. A clear and concise trail during the process holding the clients hand from start to finish. So often hurdles are placed in the way and we have a large network of contacts we will speak to on our clients behalf to rectify any problem arising following survey. At every opportunity we will step in to assist guiding our clients through the selling process.

In an article by RICS Bricks vs Clicks James Scott-Lee FRICS, Chairman of The Chancellors Group of Estate Agents comments: It’s not just about saying “Here’s a house, would you like to buy it?” It’s about “What should we ask for this house? How should we market it? What’s the pricing strategy? What’s the marketing strategy? Who will we select to buy it?” It’s about negotiating the deal and ensuring it gets through to a successful completion.

Having a local presence within the community with a superb knowledge of the local area is invaluable, and whose brand and reputation are trusted.
