The Right Technology in the Right Hands Equals Happy Clients!

Two customer satisfaction questionnaires from a property sale recently landed on my desk, which intrigued me enough to investigate the story behind them.

The vendor feedback read “WOW! Had an offer on my house before I had made my mind up to sell it!!!”

How did this offer come to light I hear you ask? Well, it is all down to a very proactive estate agent called Sue Price who runs our Presteigne office.

After entering the basic details of the potential vendor into the front of office system, Sue then ran some searches on the database of people looking to buy, as she was aware of somebody who was recently interested in a similar property that had already been sold.
Gaining permission from the person looking to sell, to approach this person who had been looking to buy was the next step, and once done Sue set to work on negotiating a mutually agreeable price for both parties. The end result of this was a sale that was completed 8 weeks later.

Feedback from the purchaser’s questionnaire read “Sue was an absolute Star right from the start – absolutely amazing service!”

I guess that the moral of this story is to always keep in touch with the local property expert in the area that you are looking to buy or sell, because if you are registered on their database and they are on the ball then you should have a greater chance of success, whether you are buying OR selling.

My advice for those who are unsure of whether they actually want to sell their property or not, then why not try our ‘Discreet Marketing’ service, whereby we put the feelers out to those committed and proceedable buyers, rather than placing your property on the open market for all to see; and if you are looking at purchasing a property don’t just signup to the property portals and estate agent websites, get registered on a local property expert’s in-house database and let the technology and the proactive agent do the work for you!
