Welsh Gilt to 750gns at Worcester on Saturday 26th May 2018

The inaugural Show & Sale for the UK Breeders of Welsh Pigs, including two consignments of Large Whites met with a sharp demand and topped at a creditable 750 gns for a Welsh In pig Gilt “Burry Marigold 8901” from Ken Austin’s Burry Herd, from the Gower, South Wales. The Gilt by Burry Earl out of Burry Marigold 6727 won second prize in the preceding show and was secured by Geoff Bemand for his Leyster’s Spring Herd at Tenbury Wells, Worcestershire.
