Worcester Beef Shorthorns Top At 2650gns on Saturday 22nd September 2018

The Beef Shorthorn Cattle Society’s Autumn Show & Sale at Worcester enjoyed sound genuine support from a full company of buyers and supporters and recording a top price of 2650gns for the third prize bull in the preceding show “Warmington Lawrence” from Robert Leach’s Banbury based herd – the bull by Senior Male Champion at Stirling Carrarock Chalkie and having won Male & reserve Breed Champion at Royal Three Counties Show 2018 was secured by M R Barnett, Hereford. The Warmington prefix enjoyed the second highest price for Warmington Broadhooks that won 1st, Female and Overall Champion also by Carrarock Chalkie at 2600gns to C W Dover & Sons, Twigworth, Glousceter.

Females were closely followed throughout and the third prize Junior Heifer Greenley Lolita Floss from Graham & Megan Towers Northamptonshire herd sold to 2250gns to J Nelson, Larne, Co Antrim, N Ireland.
