No shortage of competition but at a different level to recent weeks. With the continued heat wave hampering home and export trade (just not eating!!) supply is outstripping demand!!  That said, those lambs hitting the “spec” for meat, confirmation and weight (40kg upwards) the trade was actually quite buoyant. Better lambs to 195 ppk av 172.6ppk – on the day better than it could have been.
