The scenic market town of Church Stretton often referred to as ‘Little Switzerland’ boasts a vibrant and diverse community. Set midway between the county town of Shrewsbury and the historic market town of Ludlow, Church Stretton enjoys good road links to the surrounding centres and the M54. The town also benefits from a main line railway station.

Set within the spectacular Shropshire Hills the town benefits from not only breath taking views, but easy access to the National Trust owned Carding Mill Valley and 20 square miles of Longmynd hills, not only does the town enjoy this but also benefits from Caradoc, Ragleth, Lawley and Hazler Hill offering a haven for walkers and other outdoor pursuits.

The small market town today being a renowned tourist destination offers a comprehensive range of specialist shops, locally sourced produce, public houses, restaurants and the ever growing popular town market which is run on a Thursday and Saturday in the Towns Square located on the High Street.

There is an excellent Primary School and Secondary School with specialist Technology College status and a new fully equipped leisure centre with gym, swimming pool, dance studio and club rooms. The town also offers local football, golf, bowling and other clubs for all sectors of the community.

Church Stretton not only offers an excellent range of shops and clubs but also offers town events such as the ‘Summer Fest’ every July a fun packed day with stalls lining the streets with music and dancing throughout the day, in the evening local and up and coming bands play in the picturesque Rectory Field a two minuet walk from the High Street, a great community event not to miss!

The historical market town has a beautiful mix of traditional buildings and quality developments all set within the spectacular valley, offering a thriving local community with a population of approximately 3500.
