Immediately to the rear of the house is a walled courtyard providing a delightful sitting and parking area. The former brick and slate wash house (3.8m x 2.7m approx.) has power and lighting and provides a good general store. Beyond this lies the rear garden which has been thoughtfully planned and has a part brick wall and part hedge boundary. The rear garden has lawn, well-stocked beds and seating areas ideal for al fresco dining. At the end of the garden is the vegetable garden which has raised beds and a greenhouse.

On entering the village of Chirbury from Welshpool, the property is located on the left, just after the Church.
