Jamie started his estate agency career with the Ludlow office in the year 2000 after leaving college, having worked in the Ludlow office for about 5 years undertaking a wide range of responsibilities mostly focusing on negotiating and chasing sales. Following five great years working in Ludlow, Jamie went to work for an international agency, being based in their Hereford branch and continuing to expand his estate agency knowledge and expertise. In 2011 McCartneys opened the Welshpool office and Jamie was more than delighted to return to the company where he started, helping Tom Carter with establishing and running the office, dealing with residential sales and lettings as well some commercial property. Jamie now oversees the running of the Fine & Country brand throughout South Shropshire, North Herefordshire, West Worcestershire and Mid-Wales specialising is the sale of premium properties.
Since re-joining McCartneys Jamie has passed qualifications to gain membership to the National Association of Estate Agents, the Institute of Commercial and Business agents and the Association of Residential Letting Agents. At the start of 2017 Jamie was delighted to be made a partner of the company and looks forward to help drive the business forward in the years to come.
Jamie lives in Clunbury, a small village in the popular Clun Valley, with his wife Amy and is an extremely keen sportsman with not much making him happier than playing or watching sport of any kind. Jamie swims, cycles, plays football, basketball and golf and has run the London marathon three times. In September 2015 Jamie completed the Ironman Wales which has been his hardest sporting challenge yet. As well as sport, Jamie enjoys hiking and mountain climbing, making regular visits throughout the year to Snowdonia National Park in addition to being a great lover of food and eating out.
