Joanna rejoined McCartneys in March 2018, having been previously employed at the Church Stretton and Kington Offices in the Residential Property Sale and Letting Departments, before departing to embark in Estate Management for a local company in Builth Wells.
Joanna graduated from Harper Adams University College with a 2:1 Honours Degree in Rural Enterprise and Land Management in 2012. Joanna is a qualified Member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) and a Fellow of the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers (FAAV). She has also sat the exams to become a Member of the National Association of Estate Agents (MNAEA), the Association of Residential Letting and Property Management(MARLA) and the National Association of Valuers and Auctioneers (MNAVA).
Based between the Craven Arms office and Ludlow Market working alongside Les Thomas and John Uffold, Joanna also attends the Ludlow Market on a Monday and a Friday and undertakes Rural Professional work across South Shropshire. Joanna’s work includes Basic Payment Scheme applications and queries, Stewardship and Grants Scheme applications, Cross Compliance matters, Sales and Lettings of Land, Farms, and Rural Property. Joanna also assists with Compulsory Purchase and Compensation, Valuations, and Landlord and Tenant Matters.
Joanna is a farmer’s daughter from near Bishop’s Castle, South Shropshire. In her spare time, she enjoys trying(!) to keep fit, helping out on the family farm, reading, testing her culinary skills in the kitchen and socialising with friends and family.
