Elevated Rural Site Granted Full Planning Permission for 5 Glamping Pods

McCartneys LLP planning and survey department have obtained full planning approval for the erection of 5 glamping pods at an elevated rural near Presteigne.

The scheme sees the approval of 5 glamping pods all located in elevated positions with spectacular views over the Radnor Valley.  The scheme was designed to ensure that each glamping pod was secluded with its own individual outlooks over the valley below.  The siting of the glamping pods predominately used existing tracks for access which caused minimal effect of the landscape and ecology in the location.

 The 5 glamping pods are all approved as holiday accommodation and cannot be used as a person’s main residence, however we were pleased to obtain permission for our client for cabins which can be occupied all year long.  The clients were very excited and eager to begin their new business venture, with the glamping pods being part of a farm diversification scheme aimed at providing a new source of income into the farming business.
