Family Run Business Obtain a 15 Year Extension for Their Right to Quarry

McCartneys LLP planning and survey department have obtained planning permission to extend the duration of the existing permission through a variation of condition application.

Little Wern Willa is a small family run quarry in Mid Wales. It was originally granted permission with a condition restricting the number of years which the quarry is operational in order for the land to be returned to its original use. The planning permission was due to expire in 2018, with much of the quarrying still to be undertaken. McCartneys survey department were asked to apply for planning permission to extended the duration of the permission, in order for the quarry to continue its operation. Lewis Price from Kington survey department successfully gained permission for a variation of condition which allows the quarry to remain active for 15 more years.
