Kington Fat Sheep Report

McCartneys of Kington report an entry of 1275 sheep on Thursday last the 17th May.

This sheep trade continues to remain firm in all sections even with the forth coming French holiday and the start of Ramadan. The buyers continue to require good meated sheep for their orders and the leaner sorts are more difficult to sell.

Spring lamb numbers are stead coming forward and this is helping to hold up the spring lamb trade.
