McCartneys report a good entry of 150 store cattle at Kington on Tuesday 3rd October 2017 for their October show and sale.

We had a very successful sale of store cattle at Kington with and a good attendance of buyers looking for cattle with a 100% clearance.

The store cattle trade is firm at present and is under pinned by a good fat cattle trade. We had a good yard of cattle which were mainly heavier sorts with few cattle under 400kg. The cattle were a credit to the vendors. The ages of the cattle ranged from 8 to 26 months and weights from 340kg to 640kg.
