All steers averaged 209.90 pence per kilo and all heifers levelled at 199.48 pence. The entry of young feeding bulls sold to a top of 217.7 pence per kilo (£1110 per head) and averaged 205.75 pence (£930 per head). The best selling cattle would be coated store sorts but there were buyers present for every type and weight.
