Llanidloes, it's up there with them!

A study commissioned to mark the 40th anniversary of the roll-out of UK postcodes has revealed that Llanidloes the small market town set in the heart of Mid-Wales is ranked 3rd in Wales and within the top 10 in the UK.

T. Wyn Jones ex-Partner and consultant at McCartneys LLP who was born and brought up in the Llanidloes area said he, like the majority of people who live in the SY18 postcode always knew it was a superb place to live but would rather that it wasn’t shouted from the rooftops as part of its charm was the tranquillity and pace of life!

The study undertaken analysed each location on factors including: job opportunities, health, education, crime rates and housing affordability and found that this gem of a town – the first on the river Severn was the place to live.
