501 heads forward for the October sale. A record entry of cattle on offer all of which found new homes. Several fresh buyers present and there was keen bidding on all types and sorts.

STEERS: Steers topped at £1250.00 or 232.0p/kg to an average of £841.00 or 184.0p/kg. This included several dairy sorts. More needed for the next sale on 17th November.

HEIFERS: A fantastic entry of heifers which included a high percentage of natives. Heifers peaked at £1135.00 or 231.0p/kg to an average of £782.00 or 175.0p/kg. Many more needed for the next sale on 17th November to meet the current demand.

BULLS: A few bulls making to £750.00 or 215.0p/kg. More bulls needed for 17th November.
