Oxford Downs peak at 380gns at Worcester

The Oxford Down Sheep Association recorded a top price of 380gns at the Association’s Show & Sale at Worcester. The top price went to a Ewe Lamb from Michael Hackling’s “Redhill” flock having won First, Female and Reserve Supreme Champion in the preceding Show & secured by JM & CE Mitchell, Tewkesbury, Glos. The same purchasers took a total of 8 females at the sale including another ewe lamb from “Redhill at 210gns. Shearling Ewes found favour and sold briskly up to 240gns for the First and Reserve Female Champion from ML, GE & R Vincent. The Second prize winner from RJ Bradley taken by J Griffiths, Newport, Gwent and R & M Phillips, Buckston, Lincs respectively..
