Two Storey Rear Extension and Double Garage Granted Planning Approval to a Rural Residential Dwelling

McCartneys LLP planning and survey department have obtained householder planning approval for the demolition of existing sun room and erection of a two storey rear extension to a small cottage together with the erection of a detached double garage. The extension provides a master bedroom suite to the first floor of the property and removes an unsightly and unsuitable sun room. The double garage provides additional storage facilities on the site for our clients, which the site was lacking previously.

The application went straight through the planning process with no hold ups, and has allowed the applicants to progress swiftly to the next stage of obtaining. McCartneys LLP are in the process of preparing detailed building regulations drawings and notes for the scheme in order to satisfy Building Control requirements and allow the applicants to obtain quotes of builders for the proposal.

The application was undertaken and submitted to the council by Geraint Jones working from the Welshpool Office of McCartneys. The parish and local council were keen to support the application, which is always positive to see.
