The Annual Society Sale of Simmental cattle met very good trade at Worcester on Saturday 7th May when 146 head were sold including the dispersal of the Crackley herd on behalf of M/s Booth and Bell. Topping the day's trade was the pre-sale show's Male and Overall Champion “Alchester Frankyln” bred by Mr J Shouler, Bicester, Oxfordshire. This Skerrington Addition son out of a Kilbride Farm Newry daughter sold for 4550gns to T E Meddins & Co, Craven Arms, Shropshire
