Seller's Insight
What are the neighbours like? Most of the neighbours roam around and eat grass. The human kind are quiet and keep to themselves. We do have a WhatsApp group to update each other. What attracted you to this specific house and location? My first sighting of coming under the railway on a snowy day reminded me of Narnia. I just love the rolling hills and the view from nearly all the windows and garden. The house has been a labour of love bringing her alive again. What made you choose this property over the others that were available at the time? I fell in love with the views and the sounds of nature. I was also excited about the idea of taking on the project to bring the old tired building alive again and landscaping the garden.

Seller's Insight
Who do you think would be the ideal next owner?A family with kids to enjoy all the space or someone who wants to run a small B&B or someone who would like to take on the outer buildings as a project for further development to enjoy all around views. Someone to love the home like I do.What changes have you made to the house since you've owned it? I have given the whole house a new look by redecorating all rooms with a contemporary modern feel. Updated the kitchen to a modern functional space. Redoing all the bathrooms and turning the walk in room to the en-suite for the main room. Redoing most of the electricals including the main box. Installing a new flue to the woodburner and having both fireplaces checked and certified. Installing a wired fire alarm system. New radiators and boiler system installed as well as placing the boiler outside to make the house safer. The whole garden has been landscaped to make it accessible throughout including planting fruit trees and hundreds of new plants, trees and shrubs. Enlarged and levelled the parking area. Repainted all the exterior walls and outbuildings with good quality long lasting weatherproof paint.
