6.47 Acres (in Two Quillets) of Amenity/Commercial Woodland for Sale

Wed 18 September 2019

McCartneys have kindly been instructed to sell two quillets of woodland, which form part of Brineddin Wood. The wood dominates the village of Chapel Lawn near Bucknell and its presence enhances the Redlake Valley, arguably the most beautiful and tranquil in south west Shropshire.

The quillets are 5.30 acres and 1.17 acres and form part of the south facing oak wood and wildlife site. The ancient site enjoys no special protection apart from felling restrictions imposed by the Forestry Commission. The quillets are reached via a public footpath from Chapel Lawn.

The quillets are shown in the Tithe Apportionment map of 1847. The sale of the largest quillet of 5.30 acres gives a fantastic opportunity for purchasers to have an amenity or recreational area. Both would form a fantastic site for educational purposes.

The quillets are for sale by informal tender with McCartneys Knighton Office and informal tenders will close on Monday 21st October 2019 at 12 noon.

For more information please visit McCartneys Woodland For Sale or contact Jenny Layton Mills at Knighton office on 01547 528621.
