In August 1996 Wyn joined McCartneys to run their Ludlow High Street Office and is, in part, responsible for the success it is today. Wyn’s current main sphere of expertise lies in the provision of advice, reports and valuations in all property related matters be they residential, commercial or agricultural particularly in respect of Taxation and Dispute Resolution acting as an Advocate, Arbitrator, Independent Expert and Expert Witness.
Within excess of 25 years post qualification experience, Wyn is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (FRICS), a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (MCIArb) and a Member of the Expert Witness Institute (MEWI) being well versed in providing expert evidence in Court. He is also a Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors registered Valuer, Expert Witness and Boundary Dispute Specialist and sits on the RICS President’s Panel as an Independent Expert and Arbitrator in addition to being Chairman in the Wales Valuation Tribunal.
Married to Lesley with two teenage children Penri and Finlay, in his former life Wyn enjoyed a number of jobs including working off shore in the North Sea oil fields and spending some four years abroad working as a ski guide and instructor in the winter months and sailing and windsurfing instructor in the summer until that is, he received a telephone call from his mother explaining that he was too old for that life and that he should come home and get a proper job. Needless to say you can sometimes find Wyn gazing out of the window thinking of times past.
